Basil B. Clark is a retired Associate Professor of Speech and Theatre from the University of Pikeville, Kentucky. His interests include writing, gardening, hiking, art, photography, and sharing life with Cindy and their fur-babies.
He served fourteen months as an Infantryman with the 1st Air Cavalry Division in Vietnam, where he received the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, including one for Valor, a Purple Heart, and an Air Medal.
His writing reflects a lifetime spent wrestling with war, healing, faith, memory, grief, love, and the stories that shape who we become.
